The Fall Guy

If soon-to-depart European Central Bank president Mario Draghi thought he would receive a warm congratulatory speech and a gold clock as he prepares to step down from his post, he was gravely mistaken. Instead, in the form of an interview this week with The Financial Times, Draghi has been roundly criticised by no less a figure than Allianz CEO Oliver Bäte in a series of stinging remarks.
