Boeing deteriorates by $1.3bn as reinsurance/retro markets bear brunt of $3bn+ loss

Aviation underwriters exposed to the long-running and complex claim involving the grounding of the Boeing 737 Max fleet now face a loss of ~$3bn after the aircraft manufacturer’s loss deteriorated by $1.3bn, The Insurer understands.
