EU insurers warn on “overly complex” ESG disclosures requirements

Europe’s insurers have urged financial regulators to rethink proposed reporting templates designed to improve disclosure on environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks, arguing they are currently too detailed, overly complex and a burden for customers.
