Flood Re gross claims surge 400%+ in 2023/24 on winter storms
Flood Re reported gross claims of £241.6mn for the year ended 31 March 2024, a more than fivefold increase year on year and equivalent to almost one-third of all claims received by the UK government-backed scheme since its inception in 2016.
