AM Best: Surplus lines premium up 17.4% in 2023 to $115bn

Surplus lines market direct premiums written grew 17.4 percent in 2023 to end the year at $115bn while its underwriting gain increasing to $2.1bn demonstrating profitable growth, according to AM Best.
