Carlyle launches $97.5mn claim for seized jets in fresh wave of lessor disputes

Carlyle Aviation Management has sued its insurers for more than $97.5mn to cover the loss of leased planes held in Russia after the country's invasion of Ukraine, becoming the latest in a string of cases of lessors looking for reimbursement over detained aircraft.
