Forecasters expect conflicting climate factors to result in average North Atlantic hurricane season

Most agencies are expecting that the interplay of water temperature in the tropical North Atlantic and the natural climate oscillation ENSO in the Pacific will result in average or slightly below-average storm activity in 2023.
