Berkshire holds Aon and MMC steady and adds to Markel holding in Q2

Berkshire Hathaway maintained its investments in broking giants Aon and Marsh McLennan through the second quarter and bought an additional 47,000 Markel shares but saw the value of its Moody’s stake slide 19 percent in the period, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
