Esser awarded £6.1mn damages in AFL fraud trial against former owners Alec and Bob Finch

The former owners of AFL Insurance Brokers have been ordered to pay up to £6.1mn in damages to ex-Cooper Gay CEO Toby Esser and his acquisition vehicle, after a High Court judge found the father-and-son team conspired to falsify company accounts and hide the misuse of client funds.
