Florida governor DeSantis calls for special session to stabilise insurance market

Florida governor Ron DeSantis is planning to call a special session in December to discuss solutions to stabilise the state’s insurance market, which has been plunged further into crisis by Hurricane Ian, while state CFO Jimmy Patronis has suggested assignment of benefits (AOB) should be banned.
