Gjensidige reports 92.6% CR as large losses drive Q1 profit miss

Norwegian insurer Gjensidige missed earnings consensus for the first quarter, with its combined ratio deteriorating 5.7 percentage points to 92.6 percent on the back of higher-than-expected large losses and a one-off provision relating to an adverse consumer ruling in Denmark.
