Hastings receives regulatory greenlight for acquisition by Sampo

UK motor insurer Hastings Group Holdings plc has received approval from regulators to proceed with its £1.66bn ($2.16bn) acquisition by Sampo Oyj and Rand Merchant Investment Holdings Limited (RMI).
