Markerstudy backers to acquire majority stake in £1.2bn Ardonagh personal lines unit
The Ardonagh Group is to merge its personal lines broking business Atlanta Group into MGA/intermediary Markerstudy, in a move which will create a major new player in the UK insurance market transacting over £3bn ($3.73bn) in annual gross written premium.
