Moody’s: NZIA exits weaken decarbonisation plans and are credit negative for P&C sector

The recent exits from the Net-Zero Insurance Alliance (NZIA) could impede insurers’ ability to manage risk related to carbon intensity of underwriting portfolios and are credit negative for the property casualty sector as a whole, Moody’s has commented.
