Russian state reinsurer backing enables domestic carriers to obtain Indian marine insurance permit

Russia’s state-owned reinsurer Russian National Reinsurance Company has provided financial support to domestic insurers Sogaz, Alfastrakhovanie and VSK Insurance, enabling the trio to obtain approval from the Indian Directorate General of Shipping to provide marine insurance to two tankers.
