Woodruff: Transactional insurance rates drop to 1.9-2.5% while claims rise

Transactional insurance rates have dwindled to between 1.9 and 2.5 of limit from a 5.1 percent peak in Q1 2022, while claims activity is increasing, according to Woodruff Sawyer, which expects the lower retentions now being offered to lead to a further rise in claims.
